In the recent past, at a large assembly of Christians, a powerful and moving sermon was preached by a relatively unknown pastor. The text of the sermon was the epistle of Jude. Afterward a pulpiteer of national repute observed, “I have never before heard a sermon on Jude. I know I have never preached one.” A striking but not surprising comment.
